Rosa Cullell holds a degree in Information Science from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and a Diploma in Senior Management from the IESE Business School (PADE). She began her journalistic career in Mundo Diario and was also a London correspondent where she worked for the BBC. After returning to Spain, she was part of the TVE team in Barcelona, and later joined the Economy section of El País. In February 2005 she was appointed General Director of the Gran Teatre del Liceu. In 2008 she assumed the role as General Director of the CCMA, Catalan Corporation of Audiovisual Media. She has been on the board of directors at Panrico, Carrefour, Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, Telefónica de Catalunya, Telefónica de Sao Paulo and Fecsa-Endesa. She has published the novel El Mejor Lugar del Mundo and the travel book “Tu Lisboa y la mía”.
