Spanish politician and trade unionist, Antonio Gutierrez was general secretary of the Workers’ Commissions Trade Union from 1987, replacing Marcelino Camacho. Deputy of the PSOE for the circumscription of Madrid in the year 2000 elections, and as an elected deputy he was President of the Committee on Economy and Finance, spokesman of the Commission for International Cooperation Development and also spokesman of the Spanish Delegation in the Morocco Friendship Group. On October 6, 2000 he was awarded the High Distinction by the Generalitat Valenciana.
