Núria Cabutí graduated in Economic Science from UAB, she also has a degree in Economic Studies from Oxford Brookes University and an MBA from IESE. She began her career at Bertelsmann in 1992 as a financial analyst and has developed her professional career in the publishing sector. In 1998, she was appointed Marketing Director of Plaza & Janés and subsequently Director of Communication. In 2003, she assumed the position of Editorial Director for the children and young adult division of Random House Mondadori, adding to her role, Editorial Debolsillo. In 2010 she was appointed CEO, General Director of Random House Mondadori. Since 2013 she has been CEO, Managing Director of Penguin Random House Editorial Group with operations in nine countries and member of the International Council of Penguin Random House. She has extensive experience in working with international teams and in business acquisitions and operations integrations that has materialised with the purchase of Santillana Ediciones Generales (2014), Ediciones B (2017) and Ediciones Salamandra (2019), leading to Penguin Random House Editorial Group’s leading role in the Spanish language market.
