Clara Campàs holds a degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Barcelona.
After several years in scientific research focused on developing new cancer therapies, she began her career in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector. She served as General Director of the biotech start-up Advancell and later as Director of Strategy and Development at Kern Pharma.
In 2018, she founded the private equity firm Asabys Partners, specializing in investments in companies developing new technologies in the health sector (biotechnology, biopharma, medical devices, and digital health).
She has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Biocat and Vice President of the Catalonia & Health employers’ association, and regularly collaborates with business boards and innovation committees of universities and research centers in Catalonia.
She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the start-ups Ona Therapeutics (Barcelona), Nuage Therapeutics (Barcelona), Augustine Therapeutics (Leuven), Sidekick Health (Reykjavik and Boston), and ALLOX (Barcelona).
