Jordi Mercader Miró

Industrial Engineer from the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyers of Barcelona and Master in Economics and Business Administration from IESE. Jordi Mercader is Vice President of the Institut Cerdà, member of the Patronage Council of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and President of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation. In his business career he has been president, among others, of the National Institute of Industry, National Company Bazán de Construcciones Navales Militares, SA, Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona, SA, as well as an advisor and member of the Executive Committee of the Caixa d'Estalvis i Pensions of Barcelona (1999-2012) and CaixaBank, SA (2008-12). He has also been a member of the Cercle d'Economia Board of Directors.
