Carlos Cuatrecasas holds a degree in Law from the Universidad de Barcelona where he was awarded the Extraordinary Prize. He has been a chartered trade broker in Berga, Sant Feliu de Guixols, Arenys de Mar and Barcelona, and a notary in Barcelona. In addition to various other positions, he has been Co-founder of Centre Català, Vice President of the General Council of Commercial Brokers, now integrated into the notary body, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Universitat Ramon Llull, President of the Liceo Circle, and President of the Cercle d'Economia. Carlos Cuatrecasas is currently Second Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Orfeó Català, Secretary of the Advisory Council of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Ramón Llull University Foundation and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the Germandat del Monestir de Santa Maria de Poblet Member of the Advisory Council of the "Fundación Santiago Dexeus Font", Member of the Board of Directors of the Gran Teatre del Liceu Society and Member of the Board of the Fundació de Sta. Maria de Poblet.
