Rita Almela

Entrepreneur, investor and expert in digital transformation, innovation and technology. She has led challenges both here, Latin America and Silicon Valley. She is Managing Partner of 101 Ventures, an investment vehicle and business creation focusing on digital startups and Deep Tech. She worked at Caixa Capital Risc, Venture Capital of CaixaBank, investing and managing more than 35 startups in the Digital and New Technologies sectors. She worked in Garrigues, as an adviser to companies in the tax area. She co-founded CPM Telecom, AlmaShopping and Wolorent and has invested in Garage51 and Kenko Health Accelerator. An economics graduate from the University of Barcelona, s​​he completed the Executive MBA at IESE. Additionally, she has pursued entrepreneurship and investment programs at EVCA, European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, in Paris; Ignite, Cfel, Center for Entrepreneurial Learning, at the University of Cambridge and NETI, New Companies of Innovative Technology, at the Institute of Business of Madrid.
