Professor in the Department of Economics at IESE Business School, holder of the Jaime Grego Chair in Global Healthcare Management, and member of the Management Council of IESE Business School. She holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and a degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Before joining IESE, she worked as an associate at Lehman Brothers International. She is a trustee of the Guttmann Institute Foundation and the IDIBAPS Foundation, and has served as a member of the Governing Council of the Bank of Spain. She was also part of the Advisory Council for Sustainability and Progress of the Catalan Health System.
Her research has been published in international journals such as the Journal of Health Economics, The Review of Industrial Organization, Food Policy, and the International Journal of Healthcare Finance and Economics.
