Luca de Meo holds a degree in Business Administration from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan. With more than 25 years of experience in the automotive sector, he began his career at Renault, before joining Toyota Europe and, subsequently, the Fiat Group, where he was head of the Business Units; Lancia, Fiat and Alfa Romeo, CEO of Abarth, and marketing director of the Fiat Group. He joined the Volkswagen Group as Marketing Director of the Volkswagen brand and Volkswagen Group, before serving as a member of the Sales and Marketing Management Board at AUDI AG. In addition to being chairman of SEAT Executive Committee, Luca de Meo is also currently chairman of the CUPRA Board of Directors, member of the board of directors of SEAT Metropolis: Lab Barcelona and Administrator of XMOBA, the mobility services subsidiary of SEAT. He is also Chairman of the Volkswagen Group España Distribucíon Board of Directors and the highest representative of the Volkswagen Group in Spain. From June 2020 he is CEO at Renault.
