Mercé Conesa holds a degree in Law from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and a Masters in Law and Public Management from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She served as Mayor of Sant Cugat del Vallès between 2019 and 2018 and as President of Barcelona Council between 2015 and 2018. She is President of the National Council of the Partit Demòcrata Europeu Català and director of Institut Català del Sòl.
