Marc Puig

Marc Puig studied Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (1986). In 1990, he obtained an MBA from Harvard University with a “la Caixa” scholarship. In 1991, he joined Antonio Puig S.A. as Director of R&D and New Product Development, a position he held for five years. In 1996, he was appointed President of Puig in the U.S. and President of the fashion company Carolina Herrera Ltd. based in New York. In 2001, he returned to Barcelona to assume the roles of President of the Fashion Division and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. In 2004, he was named CEO of Puig, and in 2007, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Puig, positions he currently holds. He serves as Vice President of the IEF (Institute for Family Business), Vice President of the Cercle d’Economia, and is a member of the Harvard Business School European Advisory Board, the IESE International Advisory Board, and the Católica Lisbon School International Advisory Board. In 2015, he received the Kellogg’s Family Business Leadership Award in Chicago and was inducted into the Fragrance Foundation of America Hall of Fame in 2017 in New York.
