Last June 19 we held an event in memory and tribute to Josep Piqué, renowned member and former president of our organization.
Friends who shared various moments during their personal and professional career took part in this event.
The event was divided into two sessions: "From the university to the Circle" and "The jump to politics".
In the first session, entitled "From the university to the Circle", we had the interventions of Màrius Carol, journalist and editorial director of the Grup Godó, Antón Costas, president of the Economic and Social Council and former president of the Cercle d'Economia, Anna Birulés , economist, ex-minister and director of several companies, and Carlos Tusquets, president of Banc Mediolanum and former president of the Cercle d'Economia.
In the second session, entitled "The leap to politics", we had the interventions of Trinidad Jiménez, director of Global Strategy of Public Affairs of Telefónica and former minister, José María Michavila, managing partner and founder of MdF family partners and ex-minister, Pau Guardans, chairman & CEO of Unico Hotels, and Miquel Nadal, director general of the Cercle d'Economia and ex-Secretary of State.
Finally, Gloria Lomana, journalist and executive president of 50&50 GL (Gender Leadership), spoke a few closing words.
